The Basics
Leasing is non-exclusive: the same beat can be licensed by other artists at the same time. It's the fastest, most affordable way to release a record.
Exclusive rights are negotiated per beat. Once agreed, the beat comes off the store — but licenses already issued to other artists may remain valid.
MP3 vs WAV: MP3 is compressed and fine for demos and entry-level releases. WAV is full-quality and better for mixing and mastering. Stems are the separated parts of the beat, so your engineer can rebalance the production — they're only available where they exist for that beat.
Distribution, streaming and monetization limits — units, streams, videos, live performance and Content ID — are defined in your license tier and written in the agreement.
Credit & Publishing
Producer credit is required on every license: Produced by Gilduske. Final wording follows the signed agreement.
Licensing and publishing are separate things. Gilduske may retain an agreed publishing/songwriting share even when a beat is licensed, and exclusive rights do not automatically transfer all publishing. Actual song splits are documented separately.
Upgrades: you can move up a tier later — the amount you already paid can be credited toward the higher license.
Purchasing a beat license does not automatically transfer Gilduske's publishing ownership. Song splits are documented separately.
